Kitchen bar stools
Kitchen bar stools add a modern touch to your kitchen. It adds additional seating in large kitchens where there is room for a breakfast table, and in small kitchens as a space-saving solution.

Kitchen is just not a space where we cook, as we use the counter-top for so many other activities such as browsing online recipes, checking emails, paying bills, making a to-do list, and shopping lists. A kitchen bar stool is the most ideal seating for all these activities.  For a casual conversation, afternoon tea, or when giving company to the cook in the kitchen, nothing else can be as fitting as the kitchen bar stool.

These come in so many styles and colors, it isn't an easy choice anymore. There are ones that swirl, ones without an arm, and ones without a back. There are ones that stand out, and ones that might just blend with your counter-top. Some are upholstered and some are solid seats. Some even have a bistro look and feel! Decide what you want.. but no matter what, they are a beautiful addition to any kitchen.
Kitchen Bar Stools

Optimal kitchen bar stool height is 40" to 42" (102cm) with 10" legroom between the counter and the stool. Standard counter-top height is 32" (91cm). Ideal kitchen bar stool should be around 7" taller than the counter-top.  A few inches off is ok, but there are height adjustable stools available in the market. When buying a bar stool with an arm, make sure the arm of the bar stool is not the same height of the counter-top otherwise they would clash with each other. In which case you can't tuck in the bar stool under the counter-top.

Inspect your bar stool periodically, one loose joint is enough to collapse. Depending on the material use the right cleaning solution to keep it shining as new. Promptly wipe stains on a vinyl bar stool with a mild soap solution and water. Treat your leather bar stool with a leather conditioner to keep it soft and waterproof the surface preferably every year to protect it from spills.  Spot check metal bar stool periodically for rust and treat it immediately with an rust-inhibiting spray paint.
