Desks For Everyone

A desk and a chair will most likely fit in a corner of a room seamlessly giving you a place to work without distraction. Well, for me work could mean something as simple as creating a to-do list, or browsing the internet, or my most favorite activity i.e. blogging. And, for all this, I prefer a desk and a chair even though I can get away doing these anywhere else. How about you? Do you find yourself more focussed when you sit at a desk.. Office Bookshelves - Books Inside A Box

Hello everyone! I have expressed my love for Unique Bookshelves and Open Bookshelves. Now it is Boxed Bookshelves! I am partial to this style of shelving simply because it makes organizing super easy. I can visually divide my books into categories and mix them with cute accessories. Happy New Year To You All!! I normally don't get sentimental.. but 2013 has been an amazing year for me and my family! Apart from raising two daughters and being a wife, I totally loved being out here in the cyberspace connecting with new friends, sharing what I'm passionate about.. Office In A Closet

Small areas are the best spaces to get creative with organization and decor. Imagine turning a tiny closet into a home office! It is totally possible --  I've picked a few closets that are well organized and have a good amount of desk area to get some real work done. Most of these home offices can be hidden when you don't want to think about work. This is my kind of office nook... a place that can get as personal and private to get some productive heads-down work done right inside the home. Aquariums at Home

Watching fish swim is therapeutic. Studies have shown that it will reduce anxiety and increase creativity. My all time favorite spot is the Monterey Bay Aquarium; I'm really not sure how many times I have been there..

Well, it is not so realistic to visit an aquarium often, but there are a few ways to bring in an aquarium into your own home. I have a few examples where you will see large built-in's that look amazing but are not easy to manage and the self-cleaning Aquafarm Fish Tank from Uncommon Goods. I received this complementary fish tank to review and I'm loving it! I still haven't decided where to place this -- it is moving from my kitchen counter-top to my desk to my living room!


I would like to share a few pictures taken at my home. Aquafarm arrived intact in a nice box. The instructions were easy to follow and it came with everything except sunlight, water, seeds and goldfish! An interesting fact about this product is the waste from the fish automatically fertilizes the plants and plants in turn clean the water in the aquarium. I also like the fact that it is made in Union City, California. A gift that you might want to consider during this holiday season for someone special or for your child's classroom..
